In today’s market, there’s a lot of bad advice suggesting that anyone and everyone can serve on a Board of Directors. This is simply not true. Serving on a board requires senior leadership experience, high levels of qualifications, and strong business networks. Unfortunately, many board director education groups are selling false hope with courses that may be a waste of time and money for unqualified candidates.
